Ch Denalibelay’s #Will X Ch DiamondT’s Girls Can’t Help It!

Penny is our second girl we kept from Violet x Will litter. She was a very outgoing puppy until at a year of age she was bitten by a Cape Cobra in January 2018. Thankfully she survived the neurotoxic venom, but came out of the ordeal with an extremely soft temperament. Due to the handling she received while in hospital she has a fear of being handled, especially around her rear.  We worked really hard with this issue and we managed to get her back into the show ring to complete her championship.  Well done Penny and Merle!  She is now a retired show dog.

  • At the Vet Clinic

    Cape Medical Response (human ambulance) collecting Penny and getting her ready for the major emergency unit where she would remain on a ventilator for a number of days. She had already received 4 vials of antivenom.

  • The ICU

    Penny had been extubated on day three. She was still struggling to breath so they had to intubate her for a few more days.
